In the summer of 1967 a film crew staged a robbery at a real downtown Boston bank, the National Shawmut, to open The Thomas Crown Affair. Suffolk University's student paper says the doors from the film are still on Congress Street. A block up, a Spotlight reporter jumps out of a cab, in one of that film's roughly four Boston shooting days. The doors are still showing off.
