Big Scores · STOP 04 · North End
In 1950 this building lost more than $1.2 million in cash in about twenty minutes. Today you can rent a space in it by the hour.
On January 17, 1950, men in Halloween masks let themselves into the Brink's office on Prince Street with keys they'd had made, and left with more than $1.2 million in cash. It was the perfect crime for six years, until one of them talked. The building is still standing at the edge of the North End. What it does for a living now is the punchline.
This is stop 4 of Big Scores. Walk it - any two stops are free.
