The 1852 Hunt · STOP 13 · Fort Point
Arthur Fiedler, who conducted the Boston Pops, was a noted fire buff, and this firehouse was once a museum named for him.
This brick firehouse in Fort Point once held the only double engine company in Boston Fire Department history: two engines, one captain, never sent out together. Later it was a museum named for Arthur Fiedler, the Boston Pops conductor, who was a fire buff. It's still a fire museum. Cross the Congress Street bridge and look for the brick firehouse on the corner.
